Rules for Internet Safety
1. Do not give out personal information without permission from a parent or teacher. Personal information includes things such as your address, telephone number, parents’ work number/address, or the name and location of your school.
2. Do not share pictures of yourself online without getting permission from a parent first.
3. Never agree to meet someone you met online without asking a parent first. If your parent say it is OK to meet the person, meet them in a public place and bring your mother or father with you.
4. Tell a parent or teacher right away if you see or read anything on the Internet that makes you feel uncomfortable.
5. Remember that everything you read online may not be true.
6. Do not share any of your Internet passwords with anyone other than your parents (even your best friends).
7. Be a good online citizen. Do not do anything that hurts other people or is against the law
.
